Colophon
Made in code, at load time. Terrain, roads, trees, buildings, the car and the boat are generated when the page opens. No 3D models or image textures are downloaded.
Sound is synthesised too. The engine has gears, the tyres squeal when you drift, the sea and the crickets follow the camera, and the music is generated live in D major by day and B minor at night. No audio files.
One HTML file of about 440 KB, plus three.js and the fonts.
Physics at a fixed 120 steps a second on its own collision grid, shared by the car, the boat, the ball, the crates and the letters.
Merged and instanced. Static scenery is merged into a few large meshes with vertex colours, and the 800-plus trees, rocks and flowers are instanced and sway in a shader.
Checked, not eyeballed. Scripted browser tests drive the tour, the boat and the games; an accessibility scan reports zero violations across every view and all 35 case studies.
Built with an AI coding agent under my direction. I set the spec, the acceptance checks and the review, the same way I ran Virtual Labs.
